Good or bad if Cal's Sonny Dykes and Arizona's Rich Rodriguez stay put?
  • Makes no difference ... moves by coaches of other teams are irrelevant to CU's fortunes (39%, 79 Votes)
  • Bad. I would prefer that one or both leave ... creating a little disruption for CU's rivals (38%, 77 Votes)
  • Good. I like CU being able to recruit against coaches who are looking for better jobs (23%, 47 Votes)

Do you have a rooting interest in the Pac-12 championship game?
  • Stanford - The Cardinal have the best chance at a playoff bid and a national title (70%, 120 Votes)
  • Neither ... I have reasons to like and/or dislike both teams (22%, 37 Votes)
  • USC - Pac-12 North has won all four Pac-12 titles ... It's time for the South to take a title (8%, 14 Votes)

The loss of Troy Walters as recruiting coordinator / wide receivers coach
  • Significant, but not fatal. As WR recruit Johnny Huntley put it: "That's why you don't go for a coach" (39%, 120 Votes)
  • Understand Walters wanting to upgrade to offensive coordinator. Can we offer him Lindgren's job? (31%, 95 Votes)

Thoughts on CU men's basketball to date ...
  • Ask me after the CSU game on Sunday. That game will tell us a lot about how this season will play out (57%, 157 Votes)
  • Buffs are 6-1, with the only loss to top-five Iowa State. I like what I have seen so far (39%, 107 Votes)
  • Buffs struggled at times against the likes of Northern Colorado and Ft. Lewis. I see tough times ahead (4%, 11 Votes)

Start Date: December 2, 2015 @ 9:35 pm

If CU had finished 6-7, should the Buffs have accepted a bowl bid?
  • Yes. The drought needs to end - if the opportunity had presented itself, the Buffs should have jumped on it (84%, 230 Votes)
  • No. If it's unacceptable for Nebraska to accept a bowl bid, it should be unacceptable to CU as well (9%, 24 Votes)
  • Not sure ... Ask me next November when the Buffs are 5-7 ... (7%, 20 Votes)

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
