"No more excuses" theme adopted by CU beat writers
- Somewhat agree. The situation has improved, but progress still means 4-6 wins this fall (57%, 168 Votes)
- Strongly agree. Facilities in place - easy early schedule ... It's time to win! (30%, 88 Votes)
- Disagree. The new facilities will affect future recruits and future results. CU still several years away from "no excuses" mandate (13%, 41 Votes)

Thoughts on the new "Leadership Council" ...
- Like it. Having 12 identified leaders helps in spreading out the duties; recognizing leadership (51%, 96 Votes)
- Not really interested either way. If it helps, great. If it's a distraction, then it's a waste of time (39%, 75 Votes)
- Don't like it. Too much over-thinking. Let the team pick their top four leaders, and put them in charge (10%, 19 Votes)

My first choice for a feature back at CU ...
- Actually, I'm okay with a running back by committee (31%, 72 Votes)
- Michael Adkins ... When he's healthy, he's been CU's best running back (28%, 65 Votes)
- Phillip Lindsay ... He bleeds black and gold, and will give the Buffs an emotional boost (23%, 54 Votes)
- Christian Powell ... He's led the team in rushing the past three seasons. Strong and dependable (18%, 39 Votes)
Start Date: August 8, 2015 @ 9:09 am

As Fall Camp gets into full swing, my confidence level is ...
- Medium. There are reasons for optimism, but there are plenty of concerns as well (58%, 179 Votes)
- High. The team is more experienced, more talented, and has more depth. Can't wait for the season! (35%, 108 Votes)
- Low. Try as I might, I have a hard time seeing CU winning more games than it loses (7%, 19 Votes)
Start Date: August 7, 2015 @ 8:19 am
End Date: No Expiry
Tyler Henington lost for the season ...
- Difficult, but can be overcome. CU has over 20 scholarship defensive linemen, with plenty of new talent (73%, 235 Votes)
- Maybe a blessing in disguise. It's tough for Tyler now, but he can now be a sixth-year senior in 2017 (14%, 44 Votes)
- Devastating. The defensive line is the weak link on the team, and now two potential starters - Tupou and Henington - are already out (13%, 41 Votes)
Start Date: August 6, 2015 @ 7:22 am
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
