The CSU/Oregon State game gives which RMS team an advantage?
- Hard to say ... Let's see how the Rams fare against the Beavers before drawing any conclusions (47%, 108 Votes)
- The Rams ... Teams improve most between Game One and Game Two (32%, 74 Votes)
- The Buffs ... For a change, the Rams don't get to use all of Fall Camp as a lead up to the Rocky Mountain Showdown (21%, 48 Votes)

Three weeks from the opener against CSU, my confidence level for the Rocky Mountain Showdown
- High. If Buffs can avoid mistakes, they can take out the Rams fairly easily (54%, 140 Votes)
- Medium. Anything can happen in the RMS, and the Rams will have a game under their belt (32%, 83 Votes)
- Very high. Buffs won 44-7 last year, and have an even better offense this year (14%, 37 Votes)

- I'm just glad CU is in the bowl projection discussion ... for the first time in years (69%, 161 Votes)
- Hate it! CU the No. 7 team in the Pac-12? Ugh! Buffs are being slighted ... yet again (22%, 51 Votes)
- Love it! A trip to Vegas would be a great way to finish back-to-back successful seasons (9%, 20 Votes)
Start Date: August 10, 2017 @ 8:18 pm

In 2016, CU scored 32.8 points per game, 5th-highest ever. In 2017 ...
- The Buffs will likely post a similar number this year ... which is still very good (40%, 115 Votes)
- The Buffs will blow past that number this year. The all-time record of 41.1 ppg may be in jeopardy (38%, 109 Votes)
- It depends on the defense. The Buffs may have to score 30+ just to stay in games (22%, 60 Votes)

CBS Sports: CU No. 43 team in the nation (No. 8 in the Pac-12)
- Indifferent. Enough talk ... three more weeks until #NeverStopRising takes the field (51%, 144 Votes)
- Tired of it. CBS had CU as the No. 13 team in the country at the end of 2016. Now 8th in the Pac-12? Seriously?? (27%, 76 Votes)
- Fine with it. More bulletin board material for the CU players to use as motivation (22%, 61 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
