Thoughts on CU's third commitment in three days, RB Deion Smith
- Love it! A Houston recruit with over a dozen Power-Five conference offers? Now we're talking! (73%, 226 Votes)
- Like it. The fact that he is nationally ranked as an "all-purpose back" gives Smith - and CU - options on how to use him (24%, 75 Votes)
- Not excited. When exactly is the parade of four-star prospects going to commence? (3%, 10 Votes)

Thoughts on CU's latest commitment, three-star athlete Jarek Broussard
- Like it. Love the athleticism, but CU already has plenty of skill position players (45%, 106 Votes)
- Love it! A game-breaker - almost 2,500 total yards and 23 touchdowns in one season? Gimme!! (45%, 104 Votes)
- Not a real fan. A second straight commit who was unrated by Scout? Hmmmm ... (10%, 23 Votes)
Start Date: June 23, 2017 @ 7:50 pm

Thoughts on CU's latest commitment, JC linebacker Davion Taylor
- Okay with it. A JC transfer with only one other Power-Five offer? In Mac & Company we Trust! (59%, 141 Votes)
- A big fan. He runs 10.63 in the 100, and brings experience to a position with little depth (31%, 73 Votes)
- Not excited. This is the type of prospect a 4-9 team recruits, not a 10-4 team (10%, 24 Votes)
Start Date: June 22, 2017 @ 8:10 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Where will Derrick White be drafted in the NBA Draft Thursday?
- Second round - Teams won't risk a first round pick on a one-year Division 1 starter (61%, 123 Votes)
- A late first round selection - White has done well impressing potential suitors (26%, 53 Votes)
- Unfortunately, I don't see White being drafted (11%, 22 Votes)
- I just hope he isn't drafted by ________ (insert least favorite team here) (2%, 3 Votes)
Start Date: June 21, 2017 @ 7:55 pm
End Date: No Expiry
The loss of linebacker Pookie Maka is ...
- Largely insignificant. This was a red-shirt freshman buried on the depth chart. Honestly, this frees up a scholarship (46%, 125 Votes)
- To be determined. If Maka comes back and plays for another Pac-12 team, it will be tough for Buff fans to take (39%, 105 Votes)
- Tough. The linebacker corps is already thin. The Buffs really can't afford to lose returning talent (15%, 42 Votes)
Start Date: June 20, 2017 @ 7:40 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
