How do you view the road game against Washington State?
- I'm predicting a close win. WSU was exposed in losing its last three games of 2016 - it will happen again in 2017 (76%, 154 Votes)
- More than likely a loss. Hate to say it, but the Cougars have the personnel to handle the Buffs (17%, 34 Votes)
- A definite win. Buffs' defense will be solid by late October, and will handle Falk (7%, 15 Votes)
Start Date: July 13, 2017 @ 8:18 pm
End Date: No Expiry
The best CU personnel news of the week

- RB Kyle Evans (hip) is ahead of schedule on rehab, and should be available this fall (15%, 31 Votes)
- RB Donovan Lee (broken leg) is healthy, and participating in summer workouts (7%, 15 Votes)

Pacific Takes: CU has the second-best offense in the Pac-12
- Sounds about right. CU, Washington and USC will be powerhouses this fall (38%, 91 Votes)
- Probably too high. Montez still has to prove himself, and the line needs to have a better season than last year (34%, 82 Votes)
- All I know ... With CU's defense taking a step back, the offense had better be one of the best in the league (28%, 69 Votes)
Start Date: July 12, 2017 @ 7:43 am
End Date: No Expiry
Thoughts on a 14-week college football schedule with two byes
- Like it. An extra in-season break for the players - and the fans (46%, 121 Votes)
- Love it! Another football weekend for sports fans - what's not to love? (36%, 95 Votes)
- Hate it. Could lead to more injuries, and costs players another week of their summer (18%, 47 Votes)
Start Date: July 10, 2017 @ 7:53 pm
End Date: No Expiry
What do you make of College Football News' CU prediction (4-8, 2-7)?
- I just hope someone prints this and posts in the CU locker room this summer #neverstoprising (40%, 127 Votes)
- Ridiculous. No respect for CU, while Oregon (4-8 to 9-3) and UCLA (4-8 to 8-4) rebound? Typical (35%, 109 Votes)
- Anything is possible, though 4-8 is likely the worst-case scenario for CU this fall (25%, 78 Votes)
Start Date: July 9, 2017 @ 7:57 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
