No. 6 Utah 45, Colorado 15. Thoughts?
- The pundits won't see it, but this team grew up this November. CU was the only Pac-12 team to score two touchdowns on Utah's home field. Accept the final score, and move on (48%, 186 Votes)
- This was never going to be a victory. The coaching staff showed it could game plan (re-watch the first quarter). It'll be a long off-season, but I am optimistic for the future (39%, 154 Votes)
- You are what your record says you are. CU finished 5-7 (again!), home for the holidays (again!), and lost by 30 points on national television. Not a good look. (13%, 51 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for Colorado at No. 6 Utah (5:30 p.m., MT, ABC):
- I can see the weather and improved play from the Buffs keeping the score closer than four touchdowns. The Utes will win comfortably, but the Buffs will beat the 28.5-point spread (57%, 160 Votes)
- Piled up snow and cold temperatures will mute the Rice-Eccles crowd and keep the scoring low. Buffs surprise the Utes in a low-scoring game! (33%, 92 Votes)
- Hate to say it, but I can see this one getting ugly. Utah is looking for style points, and will win going away. At least the MBB game comes on at 7:00, and Buff fans can watch a CU team win Saturday (10%, 30 Votes)
Start Date: November 29, 2019 @ 7:18 pm

The Saturday Pac-12 game which for me holds the most interest ...
- Oregon State at No. 14 Oregon ... With the College Football Playoff off the table, will the Ducks have as much motivation as will the 5-6 Beavers looking for a bowl bid? (40%, 63 Votes)
- Arizona at Arizona State ... If the Wildcats lose this game, it will be Arizona's turn to end the season on a seven-game losing streak, and finish at the bottom of the Pac-12 South (37%, 58 Votes)
- No. 16 Notre Dame at Stanford ... Will a four-game losing streak to end the season, and a 4-8 record, actually put David Shaw on the hot seat for next season? (18%, 29 Votes)
- Cal at UCLA ... The Bears (6-5) are already going bowling, while the Bruins (4-7) are staying home. Can Chip Kelly motivate his team into being competitive in the season finale? (5%, 7 Votes)
Start Date: November 28, 2019 @ 10:49 pm

Which Mel Tucker accomplishment are you most thankful for this Thanksgiving?
- Beating Stanford and Washington in November, saving the season and giving Buff fans renewed hope for the future (76%, 241 Votes)
- Beating rivals Colorado State and Nebraska - anytime you can go 2-0 against your chief rivals, you are off to a good start (15%, 48 Votes)
- Going 2-1 against ranked teams ... after Mike MacIntyre went 2-20 in his six years in Boulder (9%, 27 Votes)
Start Date: November 27, 2019 @ 10:10 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Will Utah - No. 6 in College Football Playoff Rankings - make the College Football Playoffs?
- No. The Utes won't even make it to the Pac-12 title game, falling this Saturday to the Mighty Buffs of Colorado! (43%, 159 Votes)
- No. The Utes will likely beat the Buffs and Ducks, but won't get in - east coast bias will prevent the Utes from a top four finish (37%, 137 Votes)
- No. The Utes will fall to the angry birds of Oregon in the Pac-12 title game, and have to settle for an Alamo Bowl berth (15%, 55 Votes)
- Yes. The Utes look like they will be the Pac-12 champions, and the 12-1 Utes will earn a top four ranking and a playoff berth (5%, 21 Votes)
Start Date: November 26, 2019 @ 6:55 pm

Stuart:
I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
