CU's Recruiting Class currently 29th at Rivals; 33rd at 247 Sports. Thoughts?
- You have to love it. Even coming off of a 5-7 season, Mel Tucker & Co. are putting together the highest-ranked Recruiting Class in over a decade. Well done, coaches! (50%, 183 Votes)
- I know that CU's ranking will likely drop as other schools fill their Classes. I'm just glad that this coaching staff is willing to fight for (and get commitments from) higher profile talent (43%, 157 Votes)
- Not really news. Recruiting rankings have little to do with reality. It's how the players are developed that matters, and it will take some time to see if Tucker & Co. are up to the challenge (7%, 26 Votes)

Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott again talking about 10:00 a.m., (MT) kickoff times for next fall. Thoughts?
- I would be willing to give it a try - once. If it's a choice between a 10:00 a.m. start and an 8:00 p.m., start ... give me the morning game! (64%, 152 Votes)
- I kind of like it. If given enough advanced notice (several months, not weeks), it could be fun to have a nationally televised game early (18%, 44 Votes)
- Hate it! Scott says the move would be "completely voluntary" for the schools. Note to Rick George: Just say no! (18%, 42 Votes)
Start Date: December 14, 2019 @ 6:24 pm

No. 20 Colorado 56, Colorado State 48. Thoughts?
- McKinley Wright went 1-11, the Buffs had 21 turnovers, and almost blew a 27-12 halftime lead. Not super excited about the rest of the season (47%, 112 Votes)
- Any win over CSU is a good win. A win over CSU in Moby Gym is not easy to come by as the Rams play their best game against CU. Take the "W" and enjoy the weekend. Worry about next week next week (41%, 99 Votes)
- Holding any team to 12 points in the first half is a feat. Nice bounce back win for the Buffs. Hope they can sustain the good defense going forward (12%, 28 Votes)
Start Date: December 13, 2019 @ 9:05 pm

Buffs traveling to Ft. Collins to take on CSU (Friday, 6:00 p.m., CBS Sports Network). Prediction? ...
- I don't know how, but the Buffs need to find a way to win this game. A third straight loss may send this season into a death spiral from which the Buffs may not recover (51%, 113 Votes)
- The Rams are 5-3, and were picked to finish 8th in the Mountain West ... good time for a bounce back win (38%, 83 Votes)
- CU is only 5-4 against CSU under Tad Boyle. The Rams seem to have the Buffs' number, and the struggling Buffs are likely to lose Friday night (11%, 25 Votes)
Start Date: December 12, 2019 @ 7:00 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Colorado State hires former Boston College coach Steve Addazio. Thoughts?
- Not news at all ... After CU opens against CSU next fall, the Rams are off CU's schedule until 2023 ... and by then the Rams will have a different coach (47%, 146 Votes)
- Not great news. When not playing CU, I have no problem rooting for CSU ... and this doesn't look like a home run hire (30%, 94 Votes)
- Good news for CU. No ties to CSU or the west, a .500 coach who lost at home to Kansas last year ... I can't wait for the September 5th game in Ft. Collins! (23%, 73 Votes)
Start Date: December 11, 2019 @ 7:05 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
