Colorado (1-4, 0-2) opens as a six-point favorite over Arizona (0-5, 0-2). Thoughts?
- CU is averaging 8.5 points per game against FBS competition. I'm hoping that there are changes behind the scenes. If not, Arizona breaks its losing streak; CU's losing streak hits five games (62%, 156 Votes)
- Sounds about right. With a three-point edge for being at home, it seems like Las Vegas sees the Buffs as being about a field goal better at a neutral site. I see the Buffs winning, but not covering (26%, 66 Votes)
- Only a six-point spread against a team which hasn't won in two years, and just lost its quarterback. Give me the Buffs - it's going to be a fun Saturday! (12%, 30 Votes)

Prediction for CU's record the final seven games: Arizona; at Cal; at Oregon; Oregon State; at UCLA; Washington; at Utah
- Right now, with the worst offense (by far) in the Power Five, I honestly can't see CU winning another game this year. A 1-11 season ... with many tears (36%, 91 Votes)
- A win over Arizona ... and we're likely done. I can't see the Buffs being favored - or winning - any other games this season (21%, 54 Votes)
- Two wins and five losses. Arizona and ... some other upset. A 3-9 season ... and some major changes in the coaching staff (and a QB through the Transfer Portal) (21%, 53 Votes)
- To be honest, I'd be ecstatic with three wins - Arizona; Cal, and maybe Oregon State or Washington at home. A 4-8 record, and at least some optimism for 2022 (17%, 43 Votes)
- Call me a cockeyed optimist, but this team isn't as bad as it's shown to date. Let's go for five wins and a bowl bid! (5%, 12 Votes)

It's (not really) time! Your way-too-early prediction (we'll do this again next week) for CU v. Arizona (next Saturday, 1:30 p.m., Pac-12 Networks).
- The last team the Arizona Wildcats beat? Um, Colorado ... in Boulder. The Buffs are beaten up and beaten down. Until proven otherwise, there is no reason to bet on these Buffs (41%, 80 Votes)
- Let's wait and see how the Wildcats fare against UCLA Saturday night. If Arizona can get it together against the Bruins, my fear of the game next weekend will increase exponentially (40%, 78 Votes)
- I have a good feeling about this. The Buffs will be coming off a bye, at home, and playing against a team which hasn't won in two calendar years. Go Buffs! (19%, 36 Votes)
Start Date: October 8, 2021 @ 6:28 pm

Which of the following Pac-12 games for you holds the most interest?
- None of the above. I, like my Buffs, am taking the weekend off. I need a break from college football, thank you very much! (37%, 83 Votes)
- Stanford at No. 22 Arizona State (Friday) - ASU favored by 13 points. Can Stanford pull off two upsets in a row? Is ASU the clear favorite in the Pac-South? (36%, 81 Votes)
- Utah at USC - Trojans a 3.0-point favorite. An elimination game in the Pac-12 South division race? (19%, 42 Votes)
- UCLA at Arizona - Bruins a 16.0-point favorite. Will the Wildcats come to Boulder on a 16-game losing streak? Or will the Wildcats upset the Bruins in the desert? (5%, 11 Votes)
- Oregon State at Washington State - Beavers favored by 3.5-points. Both teams coming off of impressive wins - which program is an actual contender in the North division? (3%, 7 Votes)

OG Casey Roddick: โ(The opponents) are giving us some hard boxes to run the ball against; seven-man, eight-man boxes are definitely tough to run the ball against"
- Translation: "We have no passing game, and everyone in the stadium knows it. Don't blame us when the running game fails. We have five guys trying to block seven" (72%, 209 Votes)
- I'm hopeful - but not expecting - that the bye week will lead to some changes, with the "new" offense having time to build some continuity before next weekend (22%, 63 Votes)
- It's good to see that the offensive line is taking upon itself to make the offense work. Reality is that if the line doesn't work, the offense doesn't work (6%, 17 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? ๐
