From the players coming in for a visit this weekend ...
  • I would like to see at least one or two four-star recruits say "yes" to CU (69%, 120 Votes)
  • I would like to see at least three or four more commitments overall. (24%, 42 Votes)
  • This group is strong in numbers, but not in talent. I'm hoping for better prospects in January. (7%, 12 Votes)

Colorado hosting 12-15 recruits this weekend ... in poor weather.
  • If a player makes his decision just on climate, the Buff Nation doesn't want him, anyway (64%, 153 Votes)
  • Colorado has a reputation for being too cold ... this won't help. (19%, 46 Votes)
  • It could actually help. Let 'em play in the snow! Winter's a season, too! (17%, 41 Votes)

Mike Leach hired by Washington State
  • Not a problem. Dan Hawkins went 2-1 against Mike Leach when Leach was at Texas Tech. (44%, 94 Votes)
  • Rodriguez to Arizona; Leach to WSU - The Pac-12 is getting tougher by the day. I would have preferred not have Leach in the Pac-12. (32%, 68 Votes)
  • A little disconcerting. I guess its a good thing CU got Embree last year. His $750,000 salary is chicken feed in the new Pac-12 (24%, 53 Votes)

Start Date: November 30, 2011 @ 4:14 pm

Four Pac-12 schools will have new head coaches in 2012 ...
  • It's a great opportunity (especially with USC limited to 15 scholarships) to land a great recruiting class (73%, 151 Votes)
  • This makes no difference to me or CU. (15%, 32 Votes)
  • This could actually hurt the Buffs long-term. These schools have a lot more money to throw at high profile coaches. (12%, 25 Votes)

Start Date: November 29, 2011 @ 1:38 pm
End Date: No Expiry

Of the Pac-12 head coaching jobs which have (or may have) openings, the best job available would be ...
  • UCLA (75%, 156 Votes)
  • Arizona State (21%, 43 Votes)
  • Arizona (2%, 5 Votes)
  • Washington State (2%, 4 Votes)

Start Date: November 28, 2011 @ 1:36 pm

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
