The three weekend commits are all "two-star" prospects ...
- Which means exactly nothing. The NFL is littered with "two-star" prospects. (52%, 140 Votes)
- Which is a sign that the staff is reaching. It's a transition year, so little should be expected. (27%, 71 Votes)
- Which is a little disconcerting. One four-star verbal this weekend would have been better. (21%, 56 Votes)
Start Date: January 24, 2011 @ 7:19 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Less than two weeks to signing day. The CU Class of 2011 so far ...

- A - Coaches filling needs with quality prospects (9%, 31 Votes)
- D- Let's be honest. None of these recruits would make the USC practice squad (8%, 26 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
