Buffs pick up defensive end commit during UCLA weekend
- Kudos for this commit. Just wondering how many will de-commit if the Buffs don't improve (42%, 101 Votes)
- The strength of this coaching staff is recruiting. A great get under the circumstances! (37%, 91 Votes)
- Sorry. Another two/three star commit at this point doesn't move the excitement needle (21%, 51 Votes)
Start Date: October 1, 2012 @ 7:26 am
End Date: No Expiry
Colorado falls by four touchdowns to UCLA at home ...
- Despite the score, there were some positives. Baby steps, folks. It's happening! (46%, 123 Votes)
- This beat down proves WSU was an anomaly. The Buffs will not win another game all season (30%, 80 Votes)
- I'm very disappointed. I expected a great deal more out of the Buffs against a fair - but not great - UCLA team (24%, 64 Votes)
Start Date: September 29, 2012 @ 7:26 pm
End Date: No Expiry
No facilities upgrade announcement until spring ...
- It's never going to happen on the scale Buff fans expect. CU just doesn't have bigtime donors to make it work (46%, 124 Votes)
- No one said the "Parade of Buffs" was for an announcement. Better to wait and get it right. (34%, 91 Votes)
- I understand wanting to have money and permits in hand first, but this is getting ridiculous (20%, 52 Votes)
Start Date: September 27, 2012 @ 9:50 pm
End Date: No Expiry
My prediction for the outcome of the CU/UCLA game ...
- The matchups don't look good for CU. Buffs play with heart, but lose by double digits (39%, 125 Votes)
- Buffs again show improvement, but fall short in the end, losing by ten points or less (33%, 106 Votes)
- Buffs continue on a roll and record a second upset in as many weeks! (28%, 93 Votes)
Start Date: September 26, 2012 @ 2:29 pm
End Date: No Expiry
CU's Parade of Buffs coming Thursday
- I would like to be there, but time/distance don't allow for it (70%, 146 Votes)
- Not planning on attending. Not a pep rally kind of a fan. I'm content to read about it on Friday (17%, 36 Votes)
- And I will be there! Sounds like a great event - especially if there is going to be an announcement 😉 (13%, 27 Votes)
Start Date: September 25, 2012 @ 2:58 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
