Mike MacIntyre receives a one-year contract extension
- Much ado about nothing. No added compensation, just a commonplace rollover of a five-year contract (62%, 132 Votes)
- Much deserved. One win to four wins, and he has restored Buff pride (22%, 47 Votes)
- Too early. Was nothing learned by the Barnett/Hawkins/Embree buyouts? (16%, 35 Votes)

What I liked best about the AD report to the CU Regents
- That Rick George is still projecting $50M can be raised by April (56%, 112 Votes)
- CU moving up in the world: Budgeted revenue to top $60M for the first time next year (24%, 49 Votes)
- CU Fall semester GPA highest on record - CU has no APR issues! (12%, 25 Votes)
- CU 10th nationally in Learfield Cup rankings (2nd-highest ever) (8%, 15 Votes)

My candidate for CU's leading receiver in 2014 ...
- The leading receiver from 2012 (and second last year), Nelson Spruce (50%, 118 Votes)
- A newcomer this spring: Bryce Bobo, Elijah Dunston, or Lee Walker (34%, 80 Votes)
- None who will be in uniform this spring ... It will be incoming freshman Shay Fields (13%, 31 Votes)
- A senior - Either Tyler McCulloch or D.D. Goodson (3%, 9 Votes)

Buffs earn much needed split in L.A. - My thoughts on this week's games ...
- Buffs can beat No. 27 Arizona State, but not No. 4 Arizona (43%, 103 Votes)
- Buffs are great at home, will win both games (27%, 66 Votes)
- Sun Devils have Buffs' number, but ESPN GameDay crowd lifts Buffs to upset of Wildcats (17%, 41 Votes)
- Buffs are 5-5 without Dinwiddie, will lose both games (13%, 32 Votes)
Start Date: February 17, 2014 @ 12:41 pm

Will the CU rushing attack be significantly improved in 2014?
- Hard to say. Improvement depends as much on improved line play as it does improvement from the backs (61%, 149 Votes)
- Very likely. Everyone is back - with a full year to learn the system. (29%, 71 Votes)
- Not likely. CU was 108th in rushing last season, didn't add any new recruits, and loses P-Rich as a distraction (10%, 24 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
