Should CU get into the market for former Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava?
- Oh, Hell no. Coach Prime's mantra is that CU is not about the bag, and that if you are looking for a payout, you should look elsewhere. Nico is a culture killer, and he would do exactly that at CU (81%, 193 Votes)
- I'm confident that CU will not be in the running for Nico's services, but I will be following the saga. I just hope Nico doesn't land at a school on CU's schedule (18%, 42 Votes)
- Sure, why not? A former five-star quarterback who led the Volunteers to the College Football Playoffs? Liberty's Kaidon Salter is good, but wouldn't Iamaleava be better? (1%, 2 Votes)

CU picks up its first spring Transfer Portal commitment, 6'4', 318-pound offensive lineman Xavier Hill. Thoughts?
- A huge pickup, both literally and figuratively. A large human being who is coming to Boulder as a two-time all conference player. A nice start to the spring Transfer Portal run for CU (56%, 132 Votes)
- I'm guessing that there will be some losses from the offensive line to the Transfer Portal the next few weeks, so this is a good addition to an already stronger looking offensive line (35%, 81 Votes)
- A nice pickup, but I thought that once Coach Prime's contract was finalized, there would be a rush to join The Herd. Still no commitments from the Recruiting Class of 2026. Color me concerned (9%, 21 Votes)

What might be the best reason to go to the CU Spring Showcase on Saturday, April 19th (2:30 p.m., MT)
- To show support for my Buffs, watch the new players, and to show the rest of the nation (are you listening, Matt Rhule?) that Spring Games are worth being played (61%, 51 Votes)
- To be out on a nice spring day in Boulder (62-degrees on Saturday). After the last two Spring games were played in the snow, it will be a welcome change to have good weather to watch my Buffs (26%, 22 Votes)
- To be back in Folsom Field, and back with my friends in the Buff Nation ... Oh, and I wouldn't mind getting my picture taken with the Heisman Trophy (13%, 11 Votes)

Five days before the opening of the Spring Transfer Portal, three Buffs have already left. Thoughts?
- Not really news. Even before the Transfer Portal, there was attrition in the spring. Lack of playing time, injuries, not a good fit for the need at the position ... These things happen (69%, 109 Votes)
- Just hoping this is not the tip of the iceberg. CU was already down to around 75 players. I was hoping for a relatively quiet spring, and a relatively stable roster. Perhaps that won't happen (25%, 40 Votes)
- Not good news. Isaiah Augustave led the team in rushing last year; Sam Hart was a local tight end in an already diminished room, and Savion Riley is a safety - a position needing two new starters (6%, 9 Votes)
Start Date: April 10, 2025 @ 5:57 pm

If no Buffs other than Shedeur and Travis are drafted, rate your level of concern over how that might affect Coach Prime's recruiting
- Low. One thing top recruits all have is ego. They all believe they are the next great thing. I don't think they will be judging CU on the number of Buffs who are drafted in a given year (51%, 83 Votes)
- Medium. It would be a black mark, and would certainly be used against CU by other schools in the recruiting wars, but I believe most recruits would give CU a pass, even after Year Two (41%, 66 Votes)
- High. The Coach Prime mantra is all about getting players ready to play in the NFL. If 14 Buffs work out for the scouts on every team, and none of them are drafted? That's a bad look, my friends (8%, 13 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
