- Both men's and women's teams pull off the upsets! (21%, 65 Votes)

What I take from USC's fall from the preseason No. 1 to a 7-6 team with five losses in six games
- That Lane Kiffin's days as USC's head coach are already numbered (58%, 145 Votes)
- That's it's amazing (and sad) that CU gave up six touchdown passes - twice! - to this team (22%, 56 Votes)
- That the Pac-12 South is wide open, and CU can be competitive in just a few seasons (20%, 50 Votes)

Boise State backs out of Big East, will stay in the Mountain West ...
- Not news for CU. Buffs don't play Boise State; Broncos not going to join Pac-12+ (88%, 116 Votes)
- Good news for CU. With the Broncos in the MWC, CSU will have one more legit opponent to play (8%, 11 Votes)
- Bad news for CU. Broncos will bring more $$ and legitimacy to MWC (4%, 5 Votes)

Pac-12 2-3 in bowl games thus far. What I expect in remaining three bowls ...
- 3-0. Stanford over Wisconsin; Oregon over K-State; USC over Georgia Tech (53%, 124 Votes)
- 2-1. Pac-12 wins BCS bowls, but unmotivated USC falls in Sun Bowl (41%, 95 Votes)
- 1-2. Only Stanford a clear favorite to win their bowl game (4%, 9 Votes)
- 0-3. Pac-12 a miracle finish by Arizona away from 1-4. (2%, 4 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
