CU men taking on No. 7 Arizona (Thursday, 7:00 p.m., ESPN)
  • I'm going to avoid the game altogether. It's going to be an embarrassing beat down on national television (38%, 81 Votes)
  • I'll keep tabs on the game, but I am not planning on being there or watching (34%, 73 Votes)
  • I'll be there (or watching). If Kansas State can beat Kansas, CU can beat Arizona! (28%, 61 Votes)

Start Date: February 24, 2015 @ 9:23 am
End Date: No Expiry

My thoughts on having spring practices early
  • A good idea. More time to heal up for the season; players can focus on academics after March 15th (46%, 134 Votes)
  • It makes little difference whether spring ball comes early or late (37%, 108 Votes)
  • A poor choice. Three of first four practices in the bubble due to weather; no chance for Leavitt to get up to speed (17%, 50 Votes)

Start Date: February 23, 2015 @ 8:59 am
End Date: No Expiry

My thoughts on CU's kicking game ...
  • Buffs will be fine. Alex Kinney will be CU's next four-year kicking specialist (61%, 122 Votes)
  • Very, very concerned. If Kinney gets hurt or doesn't pan out ... CU is in real trouble (23%, 47 Votes)
  • I have to believe CU's roster is not complete. Buffs won't go into the season with a true freshman and two unproven backups (16%, 32 Votes)

Start Date: February 22, 2015 @ 8:09 am
End Date: No Expiry

My pick to replace Greg Henderson at cornerback
  • Ahkello Witherspoon ... This season he will live up to expectations (47%, 117 Votes)
  • Yuri Wright ... This season he will live up to expectations (31%, 77 Votes)
  • Other ... A safety/nickel back will slide over, or a newcomer will come in and impress (12%, 30 Votes)
  • John Walker - He had seven starts at nickel back last fall (10%, 26 Votes)

Start Date: February 20, 2015 @ 8:46 pm
End Date: No Expiry

My thoughts on the 2015 CU linebacker corps ...
  • Concerned. There is some talent, but there are also some serious question marks (57%, 140 Votes)
  • Very excited. Two proven stars and an influx of new talent. The unit is stronger and faster than last season (31%, 76 Votes)
  • Indifferent. To keep up with Pac-12 offenses, linebackers are not as important as the line and defensive backs (12%, 28 Votes)

Start Date: February 19, 2015 @ 8:36 pm
End Date: No Expiry

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
