Colorado is listed as a 10.5-point favorite over UCLA
  • About right. UCLA has the talent to keep in interesting/scary, but the Buffs will prevail by two scores (54%, 211 Votes)
  • Too high. The Bruins put up 45 points against Utah in their last game - with a backup quarterback (37%, 144 Votes)
  • Too low. CU is 8-0 against the spread this season. Buffs under-estimated / Bruins over-estimated (9%, 37 Votes)

CU (6-2, 4-1) alone in first place in Pac-12 South
  • I just enjoy the concept: Calendar turning to November ... with CU in first place!! (48%, 139 Votes)
  • Buffs right where they hoped they would be - four wins to a title! (43%, 125 Votes)
  • I wouldn't have minded Utah beating Washington, if for no other reason than to watch the Buffs take down a higher ranked Ute squad Thanksgiving weekend (9%, 24 Votes)

Which Buff team will finish their season ranked higher?
  • Football team. The Buffs are 23rd now, and will continue to rise during final month (60%, 138 Votes)
  • Basketball team. Tad Boyle will have this team in the top 25 and into the Big Dance (again) by season's end (20%, 47 Votes)
  • The women's soccer team. #TheRiseIsReal is not limited to the football team. Back-to-back wins over top ten teams! (20%, 46 Votes)

CU at 6-2 with four games to play. Regular season record? ...
  • 9-3. I can see the Buffs stumbling once (Utah?) down the stretch (44%, 213 Votes)
  • 10-2. Doubt these Buffs at your peril - this is a team of destiny! (39%, 190 Votes)
  • 8-4. Still a much better record than anyone predicted two months ago (17%, 84 Votes)
  • 7-5 or 6-6. I'm a CSU fan who hates to see CU succeed (0%, 2 Votes)

Start Date: October 27, 2016 @ 5:00 pm

Mike MacIntyre the lowest paid coach in the Pac-12
  • An extension (current contract through 2018) is certainly warranted, with a decent raise and plenty of incentives (53%, 223 Votes)
  • Hold on a second. MacIntyre is 16-29 at CU. Rick George should wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds (24%, 99 Votes)
  • A contract extension and raise are mandatory. MacIntyre has certainly earned it (23%, 97 Votes)

Start Date: October 26, 2016 @ 6:34 pm

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
