Colorado a No. 5 seed in the NIT tournament
- Well deserved. Buff seniors have earned one last chance to make the 2016-17 season something special (48%, 145 Votes)
- Tough that CU has to travel to Central Florida to play. Safe to say that not many Buff fans will make the trip (33%, 99 Votes)
- Not that interested. The only "five" that matters is the five days until the Spring Game! (19%, 56 Votes)
Start Date: March 12, 2017 @ 6:46 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Will CU be invited to participate in NIT tournament come Sunday evening?
- Yes. A 19-win season in a Power-Five conference is worthy of a NIT invitation (68%, 173 Votes)
- Doesn't matter. CU's season ended when the Buffs opened Pac-12 play 0-7 (24%, 62 Votes)
- No. There are just not enough seats at the table to include the 7th-best team in a 12-team league (8%, 19 Votes)
Start Date: March 11, 2017 @ 10:57 am
End Date: No Expiry
Pac-12 extends the contract for commissioner Larry Scott
- Bad move. His deal should have been kept on hold until a DirecTV deal was worked out, and the Pac-12 Network improved to bring in more revenue (55%, 86 Votes)
- Good move. Scott has been innovative (e.g., Pacific Rim expansion; 100% ownership of Pac-12 Networks) and a national leader (45%, 71 Votes)
Start Date: March 10, 2017 @ 9:18 am
End Date: No Expiry
A record 44 NFL scouts on hand for CU Pro Timing Day. Reaction?
- Glass half full. All 32 NFL teams on hand to watch Buffs ... further proof that #TheRiseIsReal! (93%, 279 Votes)
- Glass half empty. It shows how much work the program has to do to try and maintain Top 25 status in 2017 (7%, 21 Votes)
Start Date: March 9, 2017 @ 7:36 am
End Date: No Expiry
Will the CU men's basketball team play in a post-season tournament?
- Yes. A win over Washington State will get the Buffs into the NIT (71%, 280 Votes)
- No. CU will be invited to participate in the CBI, but will turn it down (13%, 51 Votes)
- Yes. Four wins in the Pac-12 tournament and an NCAA bid - dare to dream! (9%, 36 Votes)
- Yes. But it will be another lethargic effort in the CBI (7%, 26 Votes)
Start Date: March 7, 2017 @ 9:01 am
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
