  • Any win over Oregon is sweet ... Ending the Ducks' 17-game winning streak? Priceless! (40%, 109 Votes)
  • As Boyle put it: "That’s the Colorado basketball team we all know and love!". Still nine Pac-12 games left to make some noise! (37%, 103 Votes)
  • A nice win, but too little, too late ... the NIT the best Buff fans can hope for at this point (23%, 63 Votes)

Thoughts on the resignation of safeties coach Joe Tumpkin
  • It was inevitable. In today's game, even allegations of domestic violence are toxic (except at Baylor) (67%, 183 Votes)
  • To be honest ... I'm more concerned that CU is without two defensive backfield coaches on the eve of Signing Day (27%, 73 Votes)
  • Innocent until proven guilty. CU should have allowed the legal process to play out before making a decision (6%, 19 Votes)

What to take from CU's 85-78 win over Oregon State

ESPN will have live coverage from CU during Signing Day ...
  • Great news! Further proof that #TheRiseIsReal! Buffs are back in the national spotlight! (52%, 172 Votes)
  • Good news. Glad for the coverage ... and I hope it helps sway undecided prospects to come to Boulder (46%, 152 Votes)
  • Not really news. CU is one of 16 schools on the list ... and it's during the morning on a weekday (2%, 5 Votes)

Importance of quickly filling the vacant cornerbacks coaching position
  • Medium. It would be nice to have the staff complete before Signing Day, but not vital (46%, 122 Votes)
  • High. There are several highly-rated defensive back recruits still in play, and CU needs to have its staff in place (34%, 90 Votes)
  • Low. It's much more important to get the "right fit" than worry about one or two recruits (20%, 53 Votes)

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
