January 31st Former Nebraska quarterback named offensive coordinator at Oregon Can’t get rid of this guy … From ESPN … Oregon has promoted former Nebraska quarterback Scott Frost to offensive coordinator under new coach Mark Helfrich. The move announced Thursday had been expected since Helfrich, the team’s former offensive coordinator, was made the Ducks’ head coach on Jan. 20. — September 5th – at Denver           Colorado 42, No. 15 Colorado State 14 — Ralphie IV, only 16 months old and a mere 500 pounds, made her debut as the Buffs’ mascot before a crowd of 76,036 in a sold-out Mile High Stadium and a national television audience in the first-ever college football game at Mile High Stadium. — October 18th – Boulder           Colorado 42, Kansas 6 — For the first time in 1997, the Colorado Buffaloes played like the 1997 Buffaloes were predicted to play when the season started.
