7:00 p.m. … Junior college Jordan Allen announced that he is signing with Tennessee …

3:00 p.m. … Defensive back Hassan Hypolite postpones his commitment … A tweet from Hypolite: “After several conversations with my family, coaches and others i seek advice from i have decided it’s best i don’t sign until February. I am still committed to Colorado and hope everyone can respect my decision”.

1:00 p.m. … Three-star junior college defensive end Jordan Allen (Rivals bio) will be announcing his decision at 7:00 p.m.,MT, tonight. Allen has numerous Power-Five conference offers, and took official visits to Arizona State, TCU, Colorado and Michigan State.

9:40 a.m. … The only CU commit who has not sent in his Letter of Intent (though other surprises may still come in!) is defensive back Hassan Hypolite. This morning, at 7:37 a.m., Hypolite tweeted out: “God please show me the way Cs i am lost” … we’ll see how this plays out.

9:30 a.m. … Bingo! Junior college linebacker Davion Taylor has sent in his Letter of Intent! Taylor had committed to Colorado in June, then de-committed and was reported to be signing with Ole Miss instead. Now, Taylor is a Buff!

9:25 a.m. … First – and perhaps only – loss from the list of committed players – Josh McMullen, a two-star junior college offensive lineman from Mississippi, who committed to Colorado on December 12th, switched his commitment to Central Florida this morning

9:20 a.m. … Junior college defensive back Aaron Maddox is now a Buff! Maddox was courted late by other schools, picking up an offer from UCLA last night … but he stayed with Colorado!

9:15 a.m. … Co-offensive coordinator Darrin Chiaverini on wide receiver Daniel Arias: “He is one of the fastest players in the state of Washington. His upside is tremendous and I am excited to work with his speed, length and athleticism.”

9:10 a.m. … Linebackers coach Ross Els on linebacker signee Clyde Moore: “Clyde is very physical, smart and is hungry because he missed his senior year with an injury. We are very excited to have him.”

8:50 a.m. … Linebacker Joshka Gustav is in the fold … only one high school senior left on the board (plus at least three junior college prospects)

8:45 a.m. … Defensive backs coach ShaDon Brown on L.J. Wallace: “He is another big athlete that played multiple positions in high school. He has the hips of a corner and the size of a safety. He will be an impact player for us this fall.”

8:40 a.m. … Defensive line coach Jim Jeffcoat on defensive lineman Tava Finau: “He is very athletic and is going to be a big DE for us. He will be an excellent pass rusher.”

8:33 a.m. … Co-offensive coordinator Darrin Chiaverini on the addition of junior college transfer tight end Darrion Jones: “He is a big, tall and fast athlete. Because of his height and speed, he adds another dimension to our offense.”

8:30 a.m. … Defensive lineman Tava Finau, for (seemingly months) CU’s only defensive line commitment, is now officially a member of the Black and Gold!

8:26 a.m. … Clyde Moore becomes the first linebacker commit from the Class of 2018 to send in his Letter of Intent

8:22 a.m. … Okay, make it a baker’s dozen! Wide receiver Dylan Thomas is now officially a Buff!

8:12 a.m. … Wide receiver Daniel Arias joins the BlackoutBoyz!

8:08 a.m. … That’s better! Junior college tight end Darrion Jones is now a Buff!

8:05 a.m. … No new commits for the past twenty minutes. C’mon guys, let’s keep the momentum going!

8:00 a.m. … One hour in, with almost half of the Recruiting Class of 2018 in the fold. Six offensive players: quarterback; two running backs; a wide receiver and two offensive lineman, joined by three defensive players: a defensive lineman and two defensive backs …

7:45 a.m. … Defensive backs coach Shadon Brown on Delrick Abrams, Jr.: “Delrick is a big, long, athletic corner that fits our mold. He has unbelievable speed and ball skills and will be an immediate impact player for us.”

7:40 a.m. … Co-offensive coordinator Darrin Chiaverini on Dimitri Stanley: “He is one of the best all-around athletes in the country. He can play inside and outside. He is a CU legacy recruit, which I know means a lot to his family and it does to me too.”

7:35 a.m. … Co-offensive coordinator Darrin Chiaverini on Blake Stenstrom: “He is as polished of a QB coming out of high school as I’ve seen in the last four years. He has great feet, football IQ and football bloodlines. He has a bright future at CU.”

7:30 a.m. … Defensive backs coach ShaDon Brown on Ray Robinson: “He is unbelievably athletic, is a guy that is big and fast. He will help our secondary at multiple positions.”

7:25 a.m. … More good news! Defensive back Delrick Abrams, Jr., who took an official visit to Oregon (thanks for nothing, Jim Leavitt!), signs with Colorado!

7:23 a.m. … HUGE news! Wide receiver Dimitri Stanley, who took an official visit to Washington this past weekend, has signed with Colorado. Stanley is the highest rated Buff recruit, getting four stars from 247 Sports

7:20 a.m. … CU’s “Quarterback of the Future”, Blake Stenstrom from Highlands Ranch, is in the fold

7:15 a.m. … Defensive back Ray Robinson from Highlands Ranch becomes CU signee No. 6.

7:10 a.m. … CU co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Klayton Adams on Joshua Jynes: “He comes from an unbelievable program & really caught our eye when he started 16 games as a junior on the state championship team. He was the only junior on that o-line and then this year he was a great leader & did an unbelievable job at multiple positions.”

7:07 a.m. … CU running backs coach on Deion Smith: “Deion had big-time schools call him in the last hour, but he was solid with us and wanted to be a Buff all the way. He is special with the ball in his hand and a complete running back and that is why schools didn’t back off on him”.

7:05 a.m. … CU co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Klayton Adams on Frank Fillip: “He caught our eye going into his junior year because he was so long & athletic, but he was able to bend. His senior year he bulked up to 275 lbs. His ability to play physical & also be athletic enough to protect the quarterback is key.”

7:00 a.m. …. The first two pieces of good news of the morning: 1) Offensive lineman Frank Fillip, who took an official visit to Notre Dame this past weekend, stayed with the Buffs … 2) the “newest” Buff, defensive lineman Israel Antwine, who had been an Oklahoma State commit as late as yesterday, stayed with his “flip”, and became a Buff this morning

6:50 a.m. … Already a busy morning … Five players have already faxed in their Letters of Intent … Two running backs – Jarek Broussard and Deion Smith; two offensive linemen – Frank Fillip and Joshua Jynes; and the newest Buff (committed yesterday), defensive lineman Israel Antwine
