The Ticker

6:40 p.m. – Stephan Nembot joins Buffs!!!

Nembot made us wait, but he went on cbsla.com this evening, and put on a CU hat!

Stephan Nembot is a 6’7″, 270-pound defensive lineman from Van Nuys, California. Nembot is considered a three-star prospect by both Rivals and Scout. Rivals ranks him as the 51st-best defensive end in the nation; while Scout ranks him 70th. Nembot’s profile is now up under the “CU Recruiting Class of 2011”.

Welcome, Stephan!

3:30 p.m – One more commitment coming!

From the SID – “Colorado does have the NLI (National Letter of Intent) in for another recruit, but he is announcing tonight at 7:00 p.m. mountain time (after 6:00 local time in California”.

Well, that could be Stephan Nembot, Marcus Martin, or a surprise guest. From the posts from today on the internet, the  most likely of the three is Nembot.

Stay tuned …

3:00 p.m. – The latest on those who are still uncommitted

Linebacker Leilon Willingham – Scout is reporting that Willingham has sent in his Letter of  Intent to Central Florida. No official word from Willingham is expected until the signing ceremony at Mullen high Thursday morning.

Wide receiver Devin Lucien – Scheduled to announce his decision at 4:00 p.m. MT. Choosing amongst UCLA, Miami, Arizona, and Colorado. Loved his trip to Miami last weekend, but parents want him to stay close to home in Encino (an LA suburb). If Lucien is concerned about Rick Neuheisel’s future with the Bruins (and why wouldn’t he be?), then the Buffs still have a chance. UPDATE: Lucien has opted for UCLA, choosing the Bruins over Colorado, Arizona, and Miami.

Defensive end Stephan Nembot – Scheduled to announce his decision at 6:30 p.m. MT. Nembot wants his family in Cameroon to see his announcement on television, so Nembot is going to wait until the end of Signing Day. Washington State is out; it’s  down to Washington and Colorado. UPDATE: Nembot has chosen to become a Buff!

Offensive lineman Marcus Martin – Still showing as a “soft verbal” for USC, Colorado is seen to be running third behind USC and Arizona. The only chance the Buffs have here is if USC asks Martin to grey-shirt, or withdraws its offer of scholarship due to NCAA penalties. Annoucement due early this evening. UPDATE: Martin has opted to stay with his commitment to USC.

1:00 p.m. – Running back Malcolm Creer became the second Signing Day bonus, joining the Buffs from Pacific Palisades, California. Creer is 5’11”, 200-pounds, and runs a 4.52 in the 40. Creer had interest from Washington, Oregon, and Nebraska, but only visited Colorado. He is considered a three-star prospect by Rivals; a two-star prospect by Scout. According to an article from SuperPrep.com, Creer received a call from Washington at 11:15 p.m. last night, offering a scholarship (what ever happened to the dead period?), but Creer stuck with the Buffs. “I talked it over with my Mom, and I am going to stay committed to Colorado.”

11:30 a.m. – Cornerback Kyle Washington has become the last of the verbal commitments to send in his Letter of Intent. Washington is a 6’1″, 197-pound cornerback from Florence, Arizona. Washington is considered a two-star cornerback prospect, but was All-Arizona as a wide receiver in 2010. Washington also ran for 788 yards, and returned three punts and one kickoff for touchdowns. In all, Washington accounted for 25 touchdowns in his senior seasons. “A lot of colleges like that I am versatile, and I feel like that will give me more of a chance to get on the field somehow,” said Washington. “Say I go to a school that wants me to play corner. If it doesn’t work out at corner, or there are a lot of players at that position, I can go help out at receiver … I don’t mind, I just want to get on the field.”

10:40 a.m. – Offensive guard Paulay Asiata signs with Colorado … In the first big story of the day,  Hawai’i guard Paulay Asiata has become a Colorado Buffalo. The four-star guard is considered to be one of the top prospects out of Hawai’i this season, and will join teammate Juda Parker with Colorado. Asiata committed to Washington on Janaury 24th, but de-committed on Monday. Asiata is 6’5″, 290-pounds, and is considered by Scout to be the 21st-best guard in the nation.

Joining Asiata in Boulder is teammate Juda Parker, who committed to Colorado on January 31st. Parker is a 6’2″, 245-pound defensive end from St. Louis high in Honolulu. Parker is considered by both Rivals and Scout to be a three-star prospect, with Rivals ranking Parker as the 28th-best defensive end in the nation. Parker originally committed to Tennessee last summer, but the Volunteers stopped calling, so Parker re-opened his recruitment in January. Parker had offers from Hawai’i, Baylor, Oregon State, and New Mexico State. “I took my official visit on January 21st, and I just fell in love,” said Parker. “I just knew from everything they wanted to do with the program, it just made them standout from all the other schools that were recruiting me.”

A third Hawai’ian joining  the Buffs is linebacker K.T. Tuumalo, also from Honolulu. Tuumalo is 6’2″, 210-pounds, and runs a 4.65 in the 40. Tuumalo is considered to be a three-star prospect by both Rivals and Scout, and the 5th-best player out of the state of Hawai’i this year. Tuumalo had offers from Oregon State and Arizona from the Pac-12, but was a Boise State commit until January. Before his visit to Boulder, Tuumalo was “100% committed to Boise State”, but then was swayed to join the Buffs. “I would say a lot of colleges recruited me because of my speed,” said Tuumalo. “And just being able to run and tackle guys. I would be less of a power linebacker for right now, and more of a speed and quickness guy.”

10:15 a.m. – Linebacker Woodson Greer, from Gardena, California, has joined the Buff Nation. Greer is 6’4″, 225-pounds, and is considered by Rivals and Scout to be a three-star prospect, with Scout rating Greer as the 48th-best outside linebacker in the country. Greer had offers from Arizona State, Michigan, and San Diego State. “I have a good knowledge for the game,” said Greer, who committed after his visit January 14th. “The thing that set (Colorado) apart was the coaching staff. A lot of their coaches went to Colorado, and most of them went on to play in  the NFL … I expected Colorado to be a pretty nice school, with an alright coaching staff when I left for my trip last Friday, but they really blew me away.”

9:30 a.m. – Cornerback/kick returner Gregory Henderson joins the Buffs from Norco, California. Henderson is a 5’10”, 180-pound cornerback who has been timed at 4.49 in the 40. Henderson is only considered a two-star prospect by Rivals and Scout, mostly due to Henderson’s size. According to Scout, Henderson is “a smidge undersized, but he’s got a good nose for the ball … and will come up and hit you.” Henderson was first-team all-league, with 58 tackles, seven interceptions, and two fumble recoveries. CaliHighSports ranked Henderson as the  8th-best cornerback in the state of California.

9:10 a.m. – Linebacker Brady Daigh was the  first commit to Colorado, way back in July, and despite the change in coaches, Daigh never wavered. This morning, Daigh signed on with the Buffs. Daigh is 6’2″, 230-pounds, and runs a 4.7 in the 40. He is considered to be a three-star prospect, and, like Mustoe (below), is rated as one of the top five players in the state of Colorado this recruiting cycle. In 2010, while working with Leilon Willingham in taking Mullen to a third straight 5A state championship, Daigh recorded 141 tackles and five sacks, adding two interceptions and two fumble recoveries. Daigh is considered to be the 33rd-best middle linebacker prospect in the nation.

9:00 a.m. – Offensive tackle Marc Mustoe has signed with Colorado. Mustoe is a 6’7″, 273-pound prospect from Arvada West high in Denver. Mustoe was a UCLA commit … until he met Jon Embree. On December 11th, Mustoe became the first commit of the Jon Embree era. The three-star tackle is considered to be one of the top five players in the state of Colorado this year, and the 32nd-best offensive tackle in the nation. Mustoe said, when he changed his commitment to Colorado, “(Jon Embree) bleeds Colorado. He  went to Cherry Creek, played at Colorado, was a coach at Colorado, and now he is the head coach … Coach Embree has a vision of  making the program what it once was.”

8:50 a.m. – Kicker Will Oliver, from North Hollywood, California, has become the eighth new Buff of the morning. Oliver, a 5’10”, 190-pound prospect, is considered to be the 12th-best kicker in the nation this year (For comparison’s sake, Zach Grossnickle was rated 10th in the nation when he joined the Buffs; Justin Castor was considered the 22nd-best kicker last year). Oliver’s main attribute appears to be his ability to kick for touchbacks – 85% of the time in high school (Aric Goodman was successful only 23% of the time last season).

8:45 a.m. – Center Alex Kelley, from Vista, California, has joined the Buffs’  Class of 2011. Kelley is 6’3″, 295-pounds, and is considered to be a three-star prospect. Kelley, along with linebacker Brady Daigh, were the only two verbal commitments from the Dan Hawkins’ regime expected to sign with Jon Embree’s coaching staff. Kelley is rated as the 22nd-best center prospect in the nation, and had offers from Boise State, Nevada, Minnesota, and San Diego State. Kelley is a legacy, as his father, Karry, was a Buff from 1976-79.

8:40 a.m. – Wide receiver Nelson Spruce has sent in his letter of  intent. Spruce was one of the first recruits for Jon Embree, committing back on December 18th. Spruce is a 6’2″, 195-pound prospect from Westlake, California. Spruce runs a 4.5 in the 40, and is considered a three-star prospect. In his senior year, Spruce had 73 receptions for 1,292 yards and 18 touchdowns, and yet he was named his prep league’s defensive back of the year, with 31 tackles and three interceptions. Spruce had offers from at least a dozen schools, including Washington State, Hawai’i, Northwestern and Air Force.

8:25 a.m. – Linebacker/Safety Will Harlos, one of the last of the verbal commitments to the Class of 2011, has become one of the first to send in his Letter of Intent. Harlos is a 6’4″, 195-pound linebacker from Somerset, Texas, and may play safety until he  puts more weight on his frame. Harlos runs a 4.54 in the 40, and is considered to be a three-star prospect. This past season, on his way to being a unanimous selection for district defensive player-of-the-year, Harlos had 157 tackles, 18 sacks, and four interceptions …

Quarterback Stevie Dorman gets an assist for the former signing, as it was Dorman who brought Harlos to the attention of the Colorado coaching staff. Dorman was also a productive player at Somerset, finishing his career with 94 career touchdown passes, 6th on the all-time Texas prep list. Dorman’s 9,352 career passing yards rank him fifth. Despite the numbers, and despite the lineage (Dorman is  the nephew of Ty and Koy Detmer), Dorman had few other 1-A scholarship offers.

7:40 a.m. – The much anticipated announcements from four-star linebacker Leilon Willingham and three-star defensive end Stephan Nembot have been postponed. Due to weather conditions, the Mullen signing day event has been put off, and Willingham will not announce until 7:00 a.m. on Thursday. Nembot, who wants his  family in Cameroon to watch him on television, will announce at 6:30 p.m. tonight. That being said, there may well be leaks during the day as to how these announcements will  turn out, so we’ll see …

7:25 a.m. – Add Rashad Hall and Jermaine Clark to the list of those who have sent in their Letters of Intent … Hall is a 6’0″, 195-pound running back from Oak Ridge Military Academy. Hall, who runs a 4.34 in the 40, rushed for over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns last fall. While only a two-star prospect, Hall’s high school coach, Otis Yelverton, said, “I have been doing this long enough to know what a four-star recruit looks like … Rashad is a special talent”. … Hall’s teammate, Jermaine Clark, is a 6’2″, 200-pound athlete, also from Oak Ridge Military Academy. While Clark is a versatile athlete, Colorado recruited Clark to play as either an outside linebacker or safety. “Jermaine is a very versatile player, very good athlete,” said Yelverton. “He is finally getting the attention he deserves.”

7:10 a.m. – And  so it begins … cornerback Sherrard Harrington becomes the first of the verbal commits to send in his letter of intent. Harrington is a 6’0″, 171-pound cornerback from Washington D.C. Harrington is considered to be a three-star prospect. “I am a playmker,” said Harrington. “When I pick off the ball, I become a kick returner after that. I had three interceptions this year, and I ran two of them back. Last year, I had four interceptions, and I ran three of them back. So, if I get an interception, there is a good chance I am going to run it back.”

For those of you who have been with CU at the Game on Signing Day before, you are already familiar with “The Ticker”. For those of you new to the site (first of all, Welcome! and Go Buffs!), The Ticker will provide short announcements as soon as they are made. They will also be time-stamped on the front page of the website, so if you are busy at work, you can check in at any time, and see if any new reports have been posted.

Announcement times to keep in mind … Four-star linebacker Leilon Willingham is scheduled to announce his decision on Wednesday morning around 7:30 a.m. This should be  the first post of the day (but don’t be too disappointed if Willingham opts for Michigan. It’s going to be a long day, a long day full of good news) UPDATE: Due to poor weather conditions, Mullen high has post-poned its signing day ceremony until Thursday. No word yet as to whether Willingham will wait to make his announcement until Thursday, or will go ahead and commit on Wednesday as planned  … Three-star defensive end Stephan Nembot is expected to announce around 9:00 a.m. UPDATE … So that his family can watch his announcement on  television, Nembot will not make his choice of  schools public until 6:30 p.m. MT, when he announces on cbs2.com … Four-star offensive tackle Paulay Asiata around 10:00 a.m … Two-star running back Malcolm Creer around 12:30 p.m. … and four-star wide receiver Devin Lucien around 4:00 p.m. (all MT).

  1. Thanks, CUBuff85, and everyone else, for your posts. Signing day was a great deal of fun for me -it’s nice to have a day of good news for a change! I appreciate all the comments – nice to know that you’re out there!

25 Buff fans have joined the email list since yesterday. If you missed out, it’s easy to rectify. Just send me an email at cuatthegame@gmail.com, and I’ll put you on the list (once again, it’s free!).

If you are on the email list, and have Buff friends who might like to receive Buff updates during the off-season, don’t forget to share! Remind them to send me an email, and we’ll get them on the list, too!

  2. Stuart, just echoing what a whole lot of appreciative Buff fans have said all ready, GREAT JOB! Anyone not yet on Stuart’s email list, do it! He is a wealth of information through out the year! Go Buffs!

  3. have a feeling Willingham will be transfering to CU. Committed to A&M becasue a friend went their and is going to UCF because a friend is going there. Once he decides what “he” wants to do, CU will be there for him.

  4. buff4life77,
Thanks for the info, I will check out the Stevie Joe Dorman You Tube video. I was thinking of 6 man football (still played in small town Texas high schools), not the 7 on 7 drill. I thought I had read somewhere that Somerset High was in one of those small districts (I was unsure though).

  5. Does any one know if cu is still interested in either bernard thomas or kody kurtz or where they ever being recruited by coach Embree and his staff.

  6. From the Orlando-Sentinel:
“UCF is still in the mix for linebacker Leilon Willingham and quarterback DaMarcus Smith, two four-star prospects who were not expected to announce their decisions Wednesday. Willingham is scheduled to announce his plans on Thursday, while Smith is slated to announce his school on Friday.

Denver (Colo.) Mullen receiver Rayshon Williams, a teammate of Willingham, is the only commitment who has not signed his letter of intent. Heavy storms in Colorado may delay his announcement for a day, but Williams is still very much expected to sign with the Knights. He is the cousin of former UCF star and current Miami Dophins receiver Brandon Marshall.”

UCF has 3 spots left on their list of signees. Number 28, 29, and 30. The 3 above mentioned athletes would fill the spots still listed open on the UCF atheletics page signee list.

Does anyone know how good of friends Rayshon and Leilon are?

  7. I could be wrong here, but I believe Dorman (QB) and Harlos (LB) may have played on a 7 man football team, not 11. That would also be why they were not rated higher by the recruiting services. That could be good for Dorman b/c he got to throw the ball tons, or bad, as it will take some time to get used to the 8 extra men on the field. I guess they will have plenty of time to adjust.

    1. wrong the 7 on 7 you refer to is your backs, tight end, and receivers working against lbs and dbs. go to you tube and type in stevie joe dorman. Watch how the young man goes thru his progressions, understands his offense (which is what cu will be like) and knows when receivers clear, throws with anticipation which a lot of qbs struggle with, this kid is going to be a player and sooner than anyone thinks.

  8. Looks like Stephan Nembot and that could be it for this year, unless Marcus Martin runs into some problems with Lane Kiffin & Company not having a spot for him. I’d bet the Buffs could find a spot for Martin. If my understanding is correct, USC’s issues won’t shake out for a month or more, so this could be an ongoing saga.

Now we will have to amuse ourselves with: 1) tracking news about potential transfers (any hot shot QB’s out there looking for a great opportunity?); 2) tracing news about CU’s efforts to attract some preferred walk-ons (any future Scotty McKnight’s out there?).

  9. If you remember coach Embree said he would look for kids who will compete, be quality students, and work hard. He want’s young men whose ceiling is high and are athletic. I think this class is exactly that, the only player that we missed on that I would have loved to be cheering for is wr. D.L.. I also think we have a great steal in QB S.D. and as most have said, thank you Stuart just a great job GO BUFFS!

  10. Disappointing about Lucien. Especially losing him to Doogie Howser.

You would think the recruit to be named later tonight is either Nembot or Martin. Personally I’m hoping for Nembot to add more depth to the D-line. We already have 3 OL commits.

  11. I guess the real big QUESTION is who’s NLI do we have that wants to announce tonight at 6pm PST , let me think , I remember Nembot wanted to wait tell tonight so his parents could see on tv there Giant baby boy pick a college.

  12. 2 stars I am excited about – Creer, Washington, and Harlos.

As for 3 stars – I think Parker and Kelley have success written all over them.

Anybody else watching Coach Embree LIVE on BuffsTV? I like Coach Embree. He is articulate and personable, yet very professional and down to business. Hawkins was always joking and being overly optimistic. I am excited about the future of the Buffs. Even if we didnt pull in any 5 star, or very many 4 star recruits. The staff did a GREAT job of getting some underrated talent and solid potential.

  13. This is from the Ralphie Report

Update 3:22 PM – According to the CU SID, Colorado does have the NLI (National Letter of Intent) in for another recruit, but he is announcing tonight at 7 p.m. mountain time (after 6:00 local time in California).

  14. Bad News. Scout has Lucien committed to UCLA.

Encino (Calif.) Crespi receiver Devin Lucien picks the hometown Bruins to close out their class and give Brett Hundley a future target…

  15. Part of me can appreciate Willingham’s decision to go to UCF. As an 18 year old, I would have gotten excited about the warm weather, beautiful coeds in shorts and tops, and the easy academics.

If he is one of the few lucky ones who goes on to an NFL career, the decision looks great.

The potential downsides: 1) if the NFL career doesn’t happen (and it won’t happen for 95% of the guys sending in their LOI’s today), then the UCF degree won’t have near the value of a degree from CU or Michigan; 2) you are much more likely to be considered for an early round draft position if you are from a BCS school where the scouts can see you competing against top competition every week.

Hopefully it turns out well for Leilon.

I’m excited about Stephan Nembot – he seems to have tremendous upside.

Any guesses on which 2 star signee(s) are going to be the next Nate Solder?

  16. Watching the live press conference with Coach Embree. He just said that “Rick” got someone that he was looking at. At least, he “thinks” that is where the kid is going. Must be talking about Lucien?

  17. I think Lucien did not choose Miami, as I live in S. Florida and Miami is reporting they have one spot open and it is for a special quarterback. SO……Slick Rick got him?

  18. Got this from the Ralphie Report

Buffs have at least one more commitment coming tonight according to the CU SID. LOI is already in just waiting for the kid to announce.

  19. Darrell Scott was rumored to be all but moved into is dorm room at Texas, 3 years ago. I can’t imagine Willigham would pick a school with 7 LB commits, which is what UCF has as of today. UCF does still have 3 slots open on their signees list though. Still that’s a lot of competition at the LB position at UCF. Gut feeling is Michigan or CU.

  20. Rumor has it that Scout is listing Willingham as having sent in a LOI to UCF. Wondering if the cold snap has him knee jerking to a warm climate (rather than Michigan. I hope there is no basis to this rumor.

  21. Thanks, everyone for the kind words …This is truly a labor of love.

For those of you who are not already on the email update list, take a moment to do so. I send out email updates once a week during the off-season, and then twice a week once fall practices begin. Just drop me a note at cuatthegame@gmail.com, and you’ll stay informed throughout the year!

    Stuart

P.S. Yes, it’s free, and I don’t give out your address to anyone else!

    1. I suspect this class may well be far better than the stars would indicate as we have always done well with Cabral’s recruits from HI and he got the top three this year at the last minute with the aid of the other coaches.

  22. I have to echo Len’s comments above…..I just found this site a couple weeks thanks to VK posting a recommendation on the Daily Camera site. Love this site…Stuart – whoever you are, this ticker thing is awesome! Keep up the good work. GO BUFFS!

  23. Come on willingham, come on Nembot, lets go Lucien.
    Suspense is killing me.
I don’t know about the Utah Rivalry, but I think Washington is starting to hate us.

    1. I would love to start a rivalry with UW. Seattle is such a fun place to visit. I would plan my travel schedule around taking that trip every opportunity.

  24. Just checked UCF website and live blog no mention of Willingham. They also have 28 commits w/ 7 of them being LBs. Not to mention their live press conference was an hour ago and he is still not listed.

  25. FC Buff……I’m assuming the 3 you are talking about are Lucien, Willingham and Nembot. Has anyone heard any more about Marcus Martin? He has been committed to USC but took a visit to Boulder last week I believe.

I know I’m excited but maybe we can land all 4!!!

  26. So now that Creer & Asiata are signed with Colorado am betting that UW or Washington is sweating right now about Nembot signing with Colorado , do you think they like us now . LOLOLOLOL

  27. Love the news. I hope we still have a surprise somewhere?! The key to this class, as always, will be how they improve over their 4/5 years in Boulder.

  28. thanks for all the hard work. this site out does all the others combined. JOIN THE PARTY Willingham, Lucien, Creer, Nembot and shots are on me!!!

  29. Asiasta, wow this is great news.
Nembot, and Willingham, are the guys I would love to see.
    As well as Lucien

Great site, thanks for all the info

  30. The signing of Asiata is great, I think people have been over-looking what keeping Brian Cabral on this staff has done for CU’s recruiting, I believe CU will have the 1st, 2nd and 3rd best players from Hawaii this year if all the players who are committed sign LOI. That is great

  31. Asiata is a Buff! Yahoo! Willingham, Lucien, and Nembot to follow? I believe it can happen with Asiata flipping on Washington.

  32. YES!!! Finally. Asiata signing represents so much more than outstanding potential. It is a glimpse of a cultural change within the football program at Colorado. We stole this guy away from UW. We can’t expect to win on the field if we can’t win on the recruiting trail. Stuart, Thank you so much for your tireless efforts. C’mon Willingham, Lucien, Creer and Nembot… Ralphie is building steam!

  33. Beautiful news about Asiata!!!!

Mr. Willingham, stay in state and be part of the return to the national scene for the Buffs!!!

  34. Willingham won’t announce until tomorrow according to the local news here in Denver , schools are closed cause of the sub zero weather.

  35. Signing day is always a day of hope. No matter what the experts say, a fan can have this day to imagine what might be, what highlights these kids might provide, what victories lie in their future. Come fall some will succeed, some will fail and hope will have to face the hard truth of the field. But for today we can dream and that makes this day great.

  36. What’s left?

    Willingham
    Lucien
    Asiata
    Creer
    Nembot

Am I missing anyone else? Would be nice to land all of them.

I think Embree and staff have done a great considering the circumstances. Can’t wait for them to get a full year of recruiting to see what they can do!

    Go Buffs!!!

  37. Love the site, have been checking it all the time.
Great class already, would love to get some of these guys left.

  38. Stuart, You Rock. Thank you for this site. Best source of Buff information out there. Would like to see you write for the Camera if you could afford the huge pay cut. THANKS

  39. Thanks for the update Stuart! You’ve been the best resource for anything and everything re: CU’s recruiting class!!

  40. Mile High – Sweet, thanks for the info. I guess I’m just jaded from all the trolls on much lesser posts than this one. I did not know he was looking here. I retract my criticism!

  41. Mike G the only reason the post of Todd Peat going to the Bugeaters is that we in Buffs land were hoping he would come here or there but not to AZ.

  42. Stuart, Is there anyway you can make these recruits sign their LOI more quickly? The suspense on some of these guys is driving me crazy! Pounding the reload button about every three seconds.

Seriously, thanks again. Can’t wait for the Spring Game!! Go Buffs

  43. Stuart – you rock! Thanks for updating this. As far as seeing Nebraska, Big XII, or Big X posts on here – who cares unless the recruit didn’t pick Colorado?!?! This is all about the future, not the past!

  44. Bigguns
After reading some of the stories about Garrison I got the impression he had a ego that was out of control

  45. Big pick up for the big 10 huskers RT @BrandonHuffman: Tempe (Ariz.) Corona del Sol defensive tackle Todd Peat commits to Nebraska…

  46. Thanks for the updates and all you do Stuart. The excitement of this day has certainly returned for Buff fans. Thanks for all the hard work by the coaching staff! Go Buffs!

  47. Stuart,
Do you know what happened with the rb, from Pearland High in Texas, Dustin Garrison, did Embree not pursue him? I see he just sent in is LOI to West Virginia.

  48. We must be doing something right… this from a Huskie blog poster earlier today…

“I’m really starting to hate CU!”

  49. I am old enough to remember the days before kids scheduled press conferences for their signings. Any way, looking forward to the ticker, these kids are the first steps to the future of the program.
