No. 5 Houston mauls CU, 102-62 – Boyle: “I like the way we started the game”
From CUBuffs.com … Colorado had no answer for Houston’s offense Saturday, as the Buffaloes dropped a 102-62 decision at the Fertitta Center.
Tad Boyle‘s Buffs fell to 16-13 overall and 6-10 in the Big 12, while the fifth-ranked Cougars improved to 24-5 overall and 12-4 in the Big 12.
“I liked the way we started the game,” Boyle said. “But we couldn’t sustain it, and Houston is so good on both sides of the ball. It’s a great learning opportunity for our young guys to see what a top five team in the country looks like.”
Freshman Isaiah Johnson led CU with 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting, and Bangot Dak scored 15 points. Sebastian Rancik added 11 points.
Houston put six players in double figures, led by 26 points from Milos Uzan.
The Cougars’ offense caused CU problems throughout the game. Houston shot 60 percent on 34-of-57 from the field. They also finished 10-of-17 from behind the arc for 59 percent. The Houston bench outscored Colorado 29-8.
“That’s what makes good teams, is it can’t just be your starting five,” Boyle commented. “It’s got to be those guys coming off the bench, and when they get in foul trouble and they give them production. That’s what that’s what a team is all about.”
The Buffs jumped out to a quick 10-2 lead, but after going up 16-11 following a Johnson and-1 in the first half, Houston outscored the Buffs 44-13 in the final 14:34 before halftime. Colorado never threatened again. CU kept pace through most of the second half but never cut the lead below 20 points.
Colorado struggled to shoot the ball from deep, making just three of 14 and only one of the last 12 after Johnson made the first two of the game. The Buffs also committed 15 turnovers, with 10 coming in the first half. That led to 21 points for Houston, compared to only nine points off seven Cougars’ turnovers for the Buffs.

Colorado defeated Kansas State, 79-70 on Feb. 25, and has won two in a row for the first time since the opening two games of the Big 12 season. The Buffaloes are 4-3 over their last seven games, with all three wins coming at the CU Events Center. Colorado has doubled its conference win total from a year ago and the win over K-State guarantees the Buffaloes will finish no lower than 14th in the final league standings.
ABOUT THE COUGARS: No. 5 (AP)/4 (Coaches) ranked Houston is 23-5 overall and in a four-way tie for second place in the Big 12 at 11-4. The Cougars have lost their last three, all coming to top 15 teams (No. 6 Iowa State, No. 4 Arizona, and No. 14 Kansas). Houston’s loss to Iowa State was only its second home conference loss since joining the Big 12 in 2023. Houston is averaging 76.6 points per game, shooting 44.4 percent from the field. The Cougars crash the offensive glass with 13.1 offensive rebounds per game, the second most in the conference. Defensively, the Cougars are allowing 62.3 points per game, and have held opponents to 40.0 percent shooting. Houston allows the least amount of points in the Big 12 and the second fewest in the country per game.
The Cougars are led by the guard duo of freshman Kingston Flemings and redshirt senior Emanuel Sharp. Flemings leads the team with 16.6 points and 5.1 assists per game. Sharp averages 16.0 points per game with 2.7 3-pointers per game on 37.3 percent from deep. Senior guard Milos Uzan is the only other player to average double figures with 11.0 per game.
THE SERIES: This will be the ninth meeting between Colorado and Houston after facing off twice a season ago. Houston leads the series 5-3 after the Cougars swept the season, winning in Boulder on Feb. 8, 69-59, and in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Championship in Kansas City on Mar. 13, 77-68. Saturday’s game will be the first meeting in Houston in over 30 years, Dec. 30, 1994, when Colorado claimed an 85-66 decision.

Buffs build early lead, hold off Kansas State, 79-70 – Boyle: “The epitome of winning ugly”
From CUBuffs.com … Colorado pulled away late in the second half against Kansas State, securing a 79-70 win thanks to a career night by freshman Ian Inman, Wednesday night at the CU Events Center.
Tad Boyle‘s Buffs improve to 16-12 and 6-9 in the Big 12. This marks the fourth-straight home victory for Colorado.
Kansas State falls to 11-17 and 2-13 in the Big 12.
Two freshman guards led the way for the Buffs, with both setting new career highs. Inman finished with 17 points on 5-of-7 from 3-point range while adding five rebounds. All three were new career highs.
“There are two kinds of shooters,” head coach Tad Boyle said on Inman. “There are shot takers and shot makers. Ian [Inman] is a shot maker. We see that in practice every day. Ian was terrific, and he made shots that kept us in the game.”
Fellow freshman guard Isaiah Johnson filled up the stat sheet. He ended the game with 18 points recording personal-bests with nine rebounds and seven assists. He led the team in all three categories.
“Coach Bill (Grier) said before the game that the guards have to come help the bigs rebound,” Johnson said. “They have some pretty big guys, so I went down there to help BD (Bangot Dak), Alon (Michaeli), and Sebi (Sebastian Rancik) rebound.”
Three other Buffs scored in double figures: Barrington Hargress totaled 15 points, Sebastian Rancik had 13 points and seven rebounds, and Bangot Dak added 10 points.

THE BUFFALOES: Colorado is 15-12 overall and tied with Arizona State for 11th in the Big 12 Conference standings with a league record of 5-9. The Buffaloes and Sun Devils are two games out of a three-way logjam for eighth place, currently occupied by TCU, West Virginia and Cincinnati, all with 7-7 conference marks.
Colorado is 3-3 over its last six games with all three wins coming at the CU Events Center. Colorado’s 78-70 win over Arizona State on Feb. 7, allowed the Buffaloes to match their 35-game win total from a year ago in 11 fewer games. The Buffaloes have also surpassed their conference win total from 2024-25.
Colorado ranks among the top 50 teams in the country in assist-to-turnover ratio (39th, 1.6) and turnovers per game (44th, 10.0 topg). Colorado was right on that assist-to-turnover mark once again in the win over Oklahoma State, dishing out 20 assists against 12 turnovers (1.7 a/to). The Buffaloes hit the 20-assist mark for the fifth time this season.
At No. 22 BYU, the Buffaloes dished out 18 assists against only seven turnovers (2.6 a/to). In the win over TCU, Colorado matched a season high with 24 assists while committing only eight turnovers (3.0 a/to). The 24 assists were the most against a conference opponent since the Buffaloes had 25 in a 91-72 win over Stanford on March 2, 2017.
Colorado’s 10.0 turnovers allowed per game ranks second in the Big 12, behind only No. 2 ranked Houston (8.3 topg). The Buffaloes have recorded single digits in turnovers 11 times this season. Colorado has a long-standing single-game team goal of allowing 11 turnovers or fewer, a mark they’ve hit in 19 of 27 games. In contrast, the 2024-25 team only achieved that feat seven times in 35 games and only once recorded single digits (8 at Kansas, Feb. 24, 2025).
ABOUT THE WILDCATS: Kansas State is 11-16 overall and tied for 15th in the Big 12 at 2-12. The Wildcats have dropped seven of their last eight overall and five-straight on the road. Kansas State is averaging 80.3 points per game and shooting 46.0 percent from the field. Kansas State gets out in transition, scoring 15.0 fast break points per game, second in the Big 12 and 27th nationally. Defensively, the Wildcats are allowing 81.1 points per game, and have held opponents to 45.5 percent shooting. Kansas State shares the ball, averaging 17.4 assists per game, ranking second in the conference and 25th in the country.
The Wildcats are led by junior guard P.J. Haggerty, who is third in the nation in scoring at 23.5 points per game. He leads the country in field goals made with 236. Kansas State has two other players who average double figures in points: senior guard Nate Johnson (12.1) and sophomore guard David Castillo (11.1). Johnson leads the team with 4.5 assists per game and is first in the Big 12 with 57 total steals this season.
THE SERIES: This will be the 146th meeting between Colorado and Kansas State in a series that dates back to 1934. Kansas State holds a 97-48 all-time lead in the series. Colorado has won four of the last five meetings, including a nonconference win at Bramlage Coliseum on Nov. 27, 2020. The series is tied 32-32 in Boulder. This will be Kansas State’s first visit to Boulder in 15 years, since a 58-56 Colorado win on Feb. 12, 2011.

CU women up to No. 26 in latest Associated Press poll
From ESPN … Geno Auriemma broke a tie with Tara VanDerveer for most appearances by a coach in The Associated Press women’s basketball Top 25 on Monday when UConn was again a unanimous No. 1.
Auriemma has the Huskies ranked for the 655th time. UConn was atop all 31 ballots from the national media panel. The Huskies (29-0) are the last unbeaten team in Division I basketball and have won 45 consecutive games dating to last season.
Tennessee dropped out of the poll for the first time this season after losing last week to Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Oklahoma. The Lady Vols have dropped seven of nine games for the first time in school history. Tennessee had been ranked for the past 31 polls.
“We’ve had an incredibly tough stretch,” coach Kim Caldwell said after Sunday’s loss to Oklahoma. “You just [have to] be honest with your team, and they can handle it or they cannot. And sometimes the honesty is not good and sometimes the honesty is good.”
The schedule doesn’t get any easier for the Lady Vols with regular-season games left against LSU and Vanderbilt.

CU women solidify NCAA tournament chances with a 75-68 win over No. 20 Texas Tech
From the Daily Camera … Going into Saturday night, Colorado women’s basketball coach JR Payne knew the stakes for her team, but she didn’t talk about it.
“Did you guys talk about it?” she asked forward Anaelle Dutat and Desiree Wooten, who both said it wasn’t a topic among players.
“Awesome. We’re all on the same page,” Payne said with a smile. “That’s what I like to hear.”
CU wasn’t so worried about the stakes on Saturday night, but focused on the task at hand. And, with the game on the line, the Buffs cranked up their defense and rallied past No. 20 Texas Tech in the fourth quarter for a 75-68 victory in front of the largest crowd of the season at the CU Events Center.
Playing in front of 4,852 fans – including head football coach Deion Sanders – the Buffs shut down Texas Tech in the fourth quarter to beat an Associated Press Top 25 team for the third time this season. In the process, the Buffs secured a top-eight seed and first-round bye for the Big 12 Tournament and moved into fourth place.
“I’m just really excited with how we played tonight on senior night,” Payne said. “We always want to win, we always want to play well, but to do it on senior night against a ranked team and the way that we did it, to finish so strong and having so many people contribute – we had a really balanced scoring night with many different people contributing in double figures and our effort on the glass was unbelievable.”

… CU in the Arena …
Buffs show some fight, falling to No. 22 BYU in overtime, 90-86
From the Daily Camera … Brigham Young immortalized a program all-timer by retiring the No. 32 jersey of former Cougars sharpshooter Jimmer Fredette.
Colorado shook off its recent road doldrums and did its best to ruin the party for the 22nd-ranked Cougars. But the Buffaloes couldn’t quite finish the job.
A short-handed BYU squad held off a spirited upset bid by CU, as the Buffs lost a gut-wrenching 90-86 overtime decision at the Marriott Center. Despite the effort, it was CU’s ninth loss in the past 11 games and their 25th consecutive loss in a true road game against a team ranked in the Associated Press Top 25.
The Cougars played most of the game without star Richie Saunders, who went down with a leg injury 45 seconds into the game and didn’t return.
BYU led 37-32 at halftime and added the first basket after the break, but the Buffs answered with 13 consecutive points to take a 45-39 lead at the first media timeout of the second half. CU’s lead still stood at six points, 51-45, when the Cougars scored six straight points to pull even, getting two of those points on free throws off a technical foul from the Buffs’ bench, and netting another two on free throws after a Josiah Sanders flagrant foul.
CU (14-12, 4-9 Big 12) still led 58-55 when BYU put together a 10-2 run to recapture the lead. The Buffs remained within 78-76 after a shot in the lane by Bangot Dak with 1 minute, 45 seconds left in regulation. After CU recorded a pair of defensive stops, a driving bucket by freshman guard Isaiah Johnson tied the game at 78-78, and solid defense by Sebastian Rancik on a final chance by BYU star AJ Dybantsa at the buzzer sent the game into overtime.
The teams traded points in the extra session until BYU’s Mihailo Boskovic broke an 82-82 tie with a 3-pointer with 1:21 remaining. The Buffs had three chances at a tying 3-pointer on one possession but came up short, and BYU iced the win at the free throw line.

The Cougars are led by freshman phenom AJ Dybantsa, who leads the NCAA in scoring at 24.5 points per game. He does that while shooting 54.9 percent from the field, the fifth highest in the Big 12. BYU has two other players who average double figures in points: senior guard Richie Saunders (18.8) and sophomore guard Robert Wright III (17.9). All three of those players are in the top 10 of the Big 12 in points per game. BYU is the only school with three players in the top 10. Saunders leads the team with 1.8 steals per game as well as 3-pointers made per game with 2.7. Both are top nine in the conference.
THE SERIES: This will be the 26th meeting between Colorado and BYU in a series that dates back to 1903 but has only been played three times in the last 70 seasons. Colorado holds a 17-8 series lead but BYU holds a 7-6 advantage in Provo. BYU won last season’s only meeting, the first as Big 12 rivals, 83-67 on Jan. 21, 2025 in Boulder.

Tad Boyle‘s Buffs fall to 14-11 overall and 4-8 in the Big 12. The Red Raiders improved to 18-6 overall and 8-3 in the Big 12.
“Texas Tech has a motto with their program, that the toughest team wins,” Boyle said. “There wasn’t any question who the tougher team was tonight, and that was that was Texas Tech, and we weren’t.”
The Buffs trailed by as much as 16 early in the first half before narrowing the deficit to eight after Ian Inman exploded for 12 points. But the Red Raiders pushed their lead over 20 points early in the second half, and Colorado never had another answer, as CU struggled to rebound the basketball.
Freshman Isaiah Johnson led Colorado in scoring with 13 points. Fellow freshman Inman set a new career-high with 12 points, all in the first half. He scored all his points on four 3-pointers, also a new career-high.
Donovan Atwell led the Red Raiders with 20 points and made six 3-pointers. JT Toppin scored 16 points and recorded 18 rebounds.
CU shot 29 percent from the floor (16-for-55), including 6-for-25 from 3-point range. The Red Raiders shot 45 percent (28-for-62) and outrebounded the Buffs, 47-30, including a 21-0 edge in second-chance points.
“It was 13 to zero at halftime on second-chance points, 13 to zero,” Boyle commented. “When you can’t make a shot, maybe you can go get an offensive rebound and get a put back. But we’re not tough enough to do that and Texas Tech is.”
Texas Tech also had a 24-14 edge in points in the paint, and the Buffs were blocked nine times.

THE BUFFALOES: Colorado is 14-10 overall and tied with Cincinnati for 11th in the Big 12 Conference standings with a league record of 4-7. The Buffaloes and Bearcats are just one-half game out of the ninth spot with a pair of teams at 4-6. Colorado has won two of its last three after sweeping the season series with Arizona State, 78-70, on Feb. 7 at the CU Events Center.
With the win over the Sun Devils, Colorado has matched its 35-game win total from a year ago in 11 fewer games. The Buffaloes have also surpassed their conference win total from 2024-25.
Colorado ranks among the top 50 teams in the nation in a few categories. The Buffaloes are 29th in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.6 and 31st in turnovers per game at just under 10. Those strong traits were on full display in the win over TCU. Colorado matched a season high with 24 assists while committing only eight turnovers (3.0 a/to). The 24 assists were the most against a conference opponent since the Buffaloes had 25 in a 91-72 win over Stanford on March 2, 2017.
Colorado’s 9.8 turnovers allowed per game rank second in the Big 12, behind only No. 8 ranked Houston (8.1 topg). The Buffaloes have recorded single digits in turnovers 10 times this season. Colorado has a long-standing single-game team goal of allowing 11 turnovers or fewer, a mark they’ve hit in 18 of 24 games. In contrast, the 2024-25 team only achieved that feat seven times in 35 games and only once recorded single digits (8 at Kansas, Feb. 24, 2025).
The Buffaloes also sport top 50 national rankings in bench points (32nd, 30.2 ppg) and fast break points (45th, 14.4).
ABOUT THE RED RAIDERS: No. 16/16 ranked Texas Tech is 17-6 overall and 7-3 in the Big 12 after snapping a two-game losing skid with a 70-63 win at West Virginia on Feb. 8. The Red Raiders are averaging 82.3 points per game, shooting 46.8 percent from the field. Texas Tech attempts 29.3 3-pointers a game and makes them at a 39.1 percent clip, ranking first in attempts and second in percentage across the Big 12. Defensively, the Red Raiders are allowing 73.5 points per game, and have held opponents to 44.6 percent shooting. Texas Tech averages 6.3 steals and 3.3 blocks per game and commits the fourth fewest turnovers in the Big 12 with 10.5 per game.
The Red Raiders are led by the duo of junior forward JT Toppin and sophomore guard Christian Anderson. Toppin leads team with 21.8 points per game which ranks third in the conference and eighth in the nation and 10.5 rebounds per game which leads the Big 12 and ninth in the nation. Anderson averages 19.3 points per game and 7.7 assists per game which leads the Big 12 and is third in the country. Texas Tech has two other players who average double figures in points: junior forward LeJuan Watts (12.7) and senior guard Donovan Atwell (12.3). Atwell makes his presence known from beyond the arc. He has put up the second most 3-pointers in the Big 12 with 183 and has made 81 which is second in the conference and ninth in the country on 44.3 percent shooting which is third in the conference and ninth in the nation.
THE SERIES: This will be the 34th meeting between Colorado and Texas Tech and only the second in Lubbock since the Buffaloes’ departure to the Pac-12 in 2011. Colorado holds an 18-15 series lead, but lost the matchup earlier this season in Boulder on Jan. 10 after a furious comeback attempt that had a 3-point look at the buzzer fall just short for the Buffs. The last game in Lubbock was a 91-75 Red Raiders win on Mar. 5, 2025. Texas Tech holds an 8-7 advantage in Lubbock with Colorado’s last win coming on Feb. 23, 2011, 71-68.

Buffs complete season sweep of Arizona State with 78-70 home win
From the Daily Camera … Freshman Isaiah Johnson often has helped make life easy for point guard Barrington Hargress.
The duo has formed an impressive backcourt tandem for Colorado throughout the bulk of the season. Johnson’s high-scoring start to his collegiate career has helped Hargress pad his assist total, and both players’ ability to knock down open shots has prevented defenses from focusing solely on one of them.
Yet with Johnson enduring a rare off-night from long range, Hargress was more than ready to pick up the slack. Hargress helped shoot the Buffs into a lead on Saturday night before CU eventually completed the job against Arizona State, posting a 78-70 victory at the CU Events Center.
Hargress went 10-for-15 with 23 points, matching a season-high he reached previously against UTSA on Dec. 13.
“We were just allowing the defense to make that decision for us, if we were going to make the pull-up or kick it out to the guy in the corner,” Hargress said. “Great execution by us on that end.”
Johnson finished just 1-for-7 on 3-pointers, but he was a perfect 5-for-5 on 2-pointers and still finished with 16 points, three assists and three rebounds. Hargress recorded four assists with only one turnover, improving an already impressive assist-to-turnover rate to 3.39 (105 assists, 31 turnovers).

CU resorts to familiar ways; Buffs routed by 2-7 Baylor, 86-67
From the Daily Camera …
Hoping to recapture the competitive spark Colorado received from a reshuffled starting lineup earlier in the week, head coach Tad Boyle rolled with the same opening five at Baylor.
This time, there was no spark from the starting lineup. Or from the other key players coming off the bench. And it didn’t take long for the Buffaloes to fizzle.
Much like a week earlier at Iowa State, the Buffs were run out of the gym quickly Wednesday night. Unlike the matchup against Iowa State, ranked seventh in the nation, this time it happened against a team CU had a reasonable belief it could defeat.
Instead, Colorado’s first visit to Baylor in 15 years ended in an embarrassment, as the Bears rolled past the Buffs in a 86-67 romp at Foster Pavilion.
It was the seventh loss in eight games for the Buffs, while Baylor won its second consecutive game after losing seven of its first eight Big 12 Conference games.
CU freshman Isaiah Johnson scored the game’s first bucket, but that proved to be the only lead of the night for the Buffs, who quickly fell into a 16-6 hole.
The Buffs remained within nine points before the Bears reeled off a 16-4 run, paving the way for a 45-21 halftime lead for Baylor. CU committed nine of its 10 turnovers in the first half.

THE BUFFALOES: Colorado is 13-9 overall and tied with TCU and Cincinnati for 10th in the Big 12 Conference standings with a league record of 3-6. The Buffaloes snapped their season-long six-game skid with an 87-61 victory over TCU on Feb. 1st.
ABOUT THE BEARS: Baylor is 12-9 overall and 2-7 in the Big 12. The Bears return home after earning their second conference win on the road against West Virginia 63-53. The Bears are averaging 84.0 points per game, shooting 48.1 percent from the field. Baylor is second in the Big 12 in offensive rebounds per game with 13.24. That mark is also good for 36th in the country. On defense the Bears are allowing 75.4 points per game, and have held opponents to 43.2 percent shooting. Baylor defends the rim well with 4.7 blocks per game, good for fourth in the Big 12. With the success on the offensive glass, Baylor is also third in total rebounds per game with 39.29. That mark is third in the Big 12 and 44th nationally.
THE SERIES: This will be the 29th meeting between Colorado and Baylor with the Buffaloes holding a 17-11 advantage. The teams met for the first time in 12 years last season in Colorado’s first year back in the Big 12. Colorado took that meeting 76-74 in Boulder. Baylor holds a 6-3 advantage in Waco. Colorado’s last win there came on March 1, 2003 in a 72-59 victory.
From the Daily Camera … Prior to a much-needed, sigh-of-relief victory against TCU, Colorado basketball coach Tad Boyle described this week as the most critical of the season.
After snapping a six-game losing streak, CU’s third-longest in 16 seasons under Boyle, with the victory against the Horned Frogs on Sunday, the Buffaloes cleared the first hurdle of the week. The next one arrives on Wednesday, as the Buffs make their first visit to Baylor since rejoining the Big 12 last year.
“I’m hoping it gives them confidence and life and understanding of how good we can be if we play together, if we play with energy and toughness,” Boyle said. “All the things I’ve talked about at times this year that we haven’t done. When we do it, and they see the difference in the results, you’d like to think they’re like, ‘Hey, this is a lot more fun,’ coming off a 30-point beatdown at Iowa State.”
Despite the six-game losing streak and a 3-6 mark in the Big 12, the Buffs remain among four teams with three league wins, essentially sitting in a four-way tie for ninth in a league that awards byes in the conference tournament for the top eight finishers. Baylor and Saturday’s opponent at home, Arizona State, begin the week with two Big 12 wins, making this week a window of opportunity for a Buffs team that faces a pair of ranked teams on the road next week in No. 13 Texas Tech and No. 16 BYU.
Baylor has struggled and enters the matchup as arguably the most disappointing team in the Big 12, although the Bears are coming off a solid road win at West Virginia that snapped a four-game losing streak.
The Bears generated their biggest headlines this season with the midseason addition of former second-round NBA draft pick James Nnaji, but the 7-foot center has made a minimal impact, averaging just 10.1 minutes, 1.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in eight appearances off the bench.
Baylor has not yet won a Big 12 home game, going 0-4, although three of those losses occurred against a few of the league’s best in Iowa State, Houston and Texas Tech. But the Bears also have lost twice to the TCU team the Buffs dominated on Sunday.

Tad Boyle‘s Buffs improved to 13-9 overall and 3-6 in Big 12 play. TCU dropped to 13-9 and 3-6 in the Big 12.
After an extended stretch of struggles, Boyle made a big change to the starting lineup. Today, he featured four true freshmen, including three who made their first career starts in Jalin Holland, Fawaz “Tacko” Ifaola, and Josiah Sanders.
The four freshmen who started, plus Ian Inman and Alon Michaeli, who came off the bench, combined for 43 points.
Five Buffs scored in double figures, with Sebastian Rancik leading the way with 17 points. Isaiah Johnson finished with 16, Bangot Dak had 14, Sanders set a new career-high with 12, and Barrington Hargress added 10 points.
Xavier Edmonds led TCU with 13 points and 12 rebounds before having to leave the game in the second half after a flagrant two foul.

Despite the recent slide, Colorado matched its win total from the 2024-25, 31-game regular season (12-19) by the mid-part of this campaign. The Buffaloes are just one win away from matching their conference win total from a year ago. Colorado would finish with 14 overall wins after a pair of wins in the Big 12 Championship (14-21).
Colorado ranks among the top 50 teams in the nation in a few categories. The Buffaloes are second in the Big 12 and are 27th in the nation in free throw shooting at 77.2 percent. THE SERIES: This will be the eighth meeting between Colorado and TCU with the Buffaloes holding a 4-3 series edge. The teams met three times last season, the first games as conference opponents.
