— October 11th – at Kansas        No. 16 Kansas 30, Colorado 14 — Junior quarterback Todd Reesing made it three-for-three against Colorado, passing for 256 yards and a touchdown in leading the Jayhawks to a 30-14 win over the Buffs. Reesing, who made his Kansas debut as a freshman against the Buffs in 2006, coming off the bench to lead the Jayhawks to a 20-15 victory, hit on 27 of 34 attempts as Kansas earned its third consecutive victory over Colorado for the first time since 1962-64. …

— October 4th – Boulder      No. 5 Texas 38, Colorado 14 — Colorado failed to take advantage of first half opportunities against 5th-ranked Texas in their 2008 Homecoming game. Meanwhile, the Longhorns took full advantage of their first half opportunities in building a 21-0 halftime lead on the way to a 38-14 win over the Buffs. — September 27th – at Jacksonville         Florida State 39, Colorado 21 — Florida State running back Antone Smith ran for 154 yards and three touchdowns in leading the Seminoles to a 39-21 win over Colorado in Jacksonville. Smith carried the ball a career high 25 times, scoring on a pair of two yard runs early and late, with a game-changing 60-yard scoring run in the second quarter as Florida State rushed for 259 yards on the day. — September 6th – Boulder           Colorado 31, Eastern Washington 24 — Colorado overcame a 14-point halftime deficit, rallying for two touchdowns in the final 2:05 to pull off a 31-24 win over Eastern Washington. Junior cornerback Cha’pelle Brown picked off Eagle quarterback Matt Nichols with 1:44 to play, returning the interception 27 yards for a score to give the Buffs their first lead of the game. — August 31st – Denver           Colorado 38, Colorado State 17 — Cody Hawkins scored on two short touchdown runs and connected with Scotty McKnight for a third score as Colorado wore down Colorado State, pulling away late for a 38-17 victory.
