Iowa State also brought to Boulder a team with a 2-6 overall record. —  October 21st – at Iowa State           No. 9 Colorado 50, Iowa State 28 — Offer college football teams a 22-point win on the road against a conference opponent, and a 50-point total on the scoreboard, and most of those teams would walk away quite content. Not the Buffs.
