  Preseason – 1999 For Colorado to be successful in 1999, a number of players would have to rise above their 1998 performances. Mike Moschetti would return at quarterback, and was primed to have a banner year. Including the Aloha Bowl, Moschetti had 2,334 yards passing in 1998, with 19 touchdowns and only seven interceptions. — September 5th – at Denver           Colorado 42, No. 15 Colorado State 14 — Ralphie IV, only 16 months old and a mere 500 pounds, made her debut as the Buffs’ mascot before a crowd of 76,036 in a sold-out Mile High Stadium and a national television audience in the first-ever college football game at Mile High Stadium.   November 1st – Boulder                    Missouri 41, Colorado 31 Unable to capitalize upon the success of the previous two weeks, the Buffs came home and laid an egg against Missouri, losing 41-31. Colorado lost in all phases of the game, and were never able to place itself in a position to win the game in the second half.  The Tigers came to Boulder 5-3, 3-2 in the Big 12.  Missouri was riding high coming to town,  having made national news the week before in defeating previously unbeaten Oklahoma State, …
