— October 19th – at Kansas           No. 9 Colorado 20, Kansas 7 — The Kansas Jayhawks in 1995 had come to Boulder with a 4-0 record in search of respect. The Jayhawks left Boulder with much, much, more. In addition to respect, Kansas came away with a stunning 40-24 win over the Buffs. — October 12th – Boulder          No. 9 Colorado 35, Oklahoma State 13 — Former Colorado assistant head coach Bob Simmons brought his 3-2 Oklahoma State Cowboys to Boulder for Colorado’s first-ever Big 12 Conference home game. Simmons was in his second season at Oklahoma State (7-10 overall), and was building for the future.   — November 5th – Boulder                    No. 7 Colorado 17, Oklahoma State 3 — The main distraction for the Colorado Buffaloes for Homecoming, 1994, was not the Homecoming festivities, nor was it the Oklahoma State Cowboys.  Rather, the Buffs greatest concern was lethargy.  Oklahoma State was 3-4-1 on the year, with its only wins coming in non-conference contests against the likes of Northern Illinois, Tulsa, and North Texas. — Buffalo Sports News makes some eerily uncanny preseason predictions — In its two editions leading up to the start of the 1994 season, the Buffalo Sports News captured more about the upcoming year than could have been known at the time.
